DR. BABAR K. RAO, MD, FAAD, FOUNDER, AND MEDICAL DIRECTOR

With over twenty years of dermatology experience, Dr. Babar K. Rao is considered a pioneer in the industry. He brings his vast and diversified experience to every patient he sees, with established offices in California, New Jersey, and New York. Dr Rao has been published hundreds of times and is always working with Medical Students on new studies. In addition, he supports numerous philanthropic causes in the United States and abroad. The Rao Dermatology team prides themselves on providing quality services for each patient, while bringing innovative technologies to their offerings. As one of the very few expert Dermoscopists (a non-invasive method of skin cancer detection) Confocalists, Dermatopathologists and MOHS surgeons in the country, Dr. Rao is considered an international authority and provides each of his patients a high caliber of care, from coast to coast.

DR. OMAR NOOR, MD, FAAD, CO-OWNER

Dr. Omar Noor is co-owner of Rao Dermatology and was born and raised in New York. He completed his medical education at George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington DC and completed his dermatology residency at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine where he was the chief resident. His interests include skin cancer and medical dermatology with a special interest in Cosmetic Dermatology, including Botox, Fillers, and Lasers. Dr. Omar Noor has received several distinguishing awards from the New York Academy of Medicine in the field of dermatology, is currently a member of the NYC Medical Reserve Corp, and is certified by the American Board of Dermatology (ABD).

ALIONA BUGA, MS, PA-C

Aliona Buga is an experienced Physician Assistant. She met Dr. Rao during her Dermatology internship at RWJ Medical School and soon after graduating she joined the practice. Aliona is treating patients with all dermatologic skin conditions and has a special interest in skin cancer prevention and inflammatory skin diseases such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, hair and nail disorders. She advises her patients to always wear sunscreen, exercise and eat a well-balanced diet to prevent premature aging and stay healthy. When she is not in the office, you can find Aliona jogging with her family in a nearby park, cooking or flipping through medical journals to be up-to-date on dermatology treatments. Aliona is fluent in Romanian, Russian and English.

ALLISON MADDOCK, MS, PA-C

Allison Maddock is a certified physician assistant. Allison received her undergraduate degree in biology from Rutgers University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Allison always knew she had an interest in dermatology, as she worked at Rao Dermatology prior to returning to Rutgers for PA school. She continues to enhance her knowledge in dermatology and has completed the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants Diplomate Fellowship. Allison is also a local to Atlantic Highlands and she looks forward to serving her community. She has a strong interest in skin cancer prevention, acne, and eczema.

Alyssa Tedesco, FNP-C

Alyssa Tedesco is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners with over 11 years of experience in diverse healthcare settings, including medical-surgical care, pediatrics, and emergency medicine. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from West Virginia University in 2012 and went on to complete her master’s degree at Chamberlain University, further advancing her clinical expertise. For eight years, Alyssa served as senior staff in the emergency department, gaining a strong foundation that continues to guide her practice in dermatology today. Alyssa takes a holistic, patient-centered approach to care and is passionate about involving patients in their treatment plans. Her clinical interests include medical dermatology and skin cancer prevention.

Anthony Marion, MS, PA-C

Anthony Marion, PA-C is a board-certified dermatology physician assistant licensed in New Jersey with over a decade of clinical experience. He earned his B.S. in Biology from Pace University and his M.S. in Advanced Physician Assistant Studies from Wagner College. Anthony treats a wide range of skin conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, hair loss, and skin cancer, and specializes in biologic therapy for chronic inflammatory skin diseases . He is committed to providing personalized, evidence-based care focused on healthy skin and optimal outcomes.

Seemal Khan, MS, PA-C

Seemal Khan is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Cognitive Science from Rutgers University before returning to Rutgers to complete her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Seemal is committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care and believes in partnering with patients to help them look and feel their best. She has a strong clinical interest in the management of acne, hair loss, skin cancer, and eczema, and strives to stay current with the latest advancements in dermatology research. Seemal values building long-term relationships with her patients and creating individualized treatment plans.
